Abstract

In this digital age, library users are becoming more hi-tech and techno-savvy regarding acquiring knowledge and information sharing. Thus, technological advancement became the need of libraries and information centres to provide 27x7 uninterrupted technology-based library services to users at minimum cost. Cloud computing is one of the new and advanced Information Communication Technology (ICT) technologies. It has many potential benefits that other technology does not have, such as cost reduction, anywhere-anytime access, on-demand self-service, resource pooling, flexibility, and many more. Cloud computing provides several opportunities to link library services to the cloud.
